Build two consistent BIA entries
Objectives
Encode the approved exercise BIA below, using numeric hours for RTO and MTPD and numeric minutes for RPO. Use the supplied keys.
These are fixed approved values: RTO must be less than MTPD for each entry. RPO represents data loss, not a second outage limit. The checker validates this fixture rather than calculating arbitrary recovery relationships.
Approved activity requirements
Booking: owner dispatch manager; RTO 4 hours; RPO 15 minutes; MTPD 8 hours; minimum capacity 50 percent; dependency identity service. Invoicing: owner finance manager; RTO 24 hours; RPO 4 hours; MTPD 48 hours; minimum capacity 25 percent; dependency booking ledger.
Checks the server runs (4)
- Set booking targets inside the tolerable window
- Set invoicing targets in consistent units
- Assign owners and minimum activity capacities
- Identify the recovery dependencies
Check names are all you see here: the expectations that decide pass or fail, and the reference solution, stay on the server.
Step-by-step hints
The guided walkthrough, in full. It is free: no XP cost, and it does not touch the paid hint ladder or the reveal gate.
- Step 1
Set booking targets inside the tolerable window
Transfer the approved booking time values and confirm four hours is inside eight.
Set booking targets inside the tolerable window
- Step 2
Set invoicing targets in consistent units
Convert the invoicing data-loss interval to minutes. Keep the other time values in hours.

- Step 3
Assign owners and minimum activity capacities
Assign each activity owner and required minimum throughput, not 100 percent by default.

- Step 4
Identify the recovery dependencies
Name the specific upstream service or data source needed for each activity.
