Configure the IAM-02 pipeline
Objectives
Turn the agreed requirements into the pipeline configuration file. The grader reads the YAML and checks each stage: collectors, schedule, record schema, custody, the empty-population rule and alerting.
Agreed requirements
control: IAM-02 identity source: cursor pagination, retry up to 5 times cloud_config source: token pagination, retry up to 5 times schedule: daily at 02:00 UTC record fields: control_id, source, collected_at, subject, value, raw_hash timestamps: taken at collection time hash: sha256 of the raw response storage: append-only, keep 400 days empty population: fail the run alert: iam-team, on failure
Checks the server runs (7)
- Names the control
- Both collectors paginate and retry as agreed
- Runs daily at 02:00 UTC
- Record carries all six fields
- Collection timestamp, SHA-256, append-only, 400 days
- Empty population fails
- Owner is alerted on failure
Check names are all you see here: the expectations that decide pass or fail, and the reference solution, stay on the server.
Step-by-step hints
The guided walkthrough, in full. It is free: no XP cost, and it does not touch the paid hint ladder or the reveal gate.
- Step 1
Identify and collect
Fill the control id, then each source's pagination style and retry limit.
Names the controlBoth collectors paginate and retry as agreed
- Step 2
Schedule
Express the run time with the hour and the time zone.
Runs daily at 02:00 UTC
- Step 3
Shape and protect the record
List every record field, say which stage the timestamp comes from, name the hash algorithm and set storage.
Record carries all six fieldsCollection timestamp, SHA-256, append-only, 400 days
- Step 4
Fail safely and tell someone
Decide the empty-population outcome and who hears about a failure.
Empty population failsOwner is alerted on failure
